Further information |
| Speech recognition software can recognise only the words that it has been taught before. It is therefore recommended to use a specialist vocabulary for specialist dictations followed by an analysis of existing documents. |
| A good microphone is a fundamental condition for the successful use of speech recognition software. Onboard-sound cards are generally not recommended. A USB-headset, dictation microphone or higher quality dictation device (with DSSPro standard) should be the preferred choice. |
| The necessary profile training takes normally less than 10 minutes with Dragon NaturallySpeaking Version 10 in order to achieve good recognition performance. Speech recognition accuracy can be continuously improved, e.g. through consequent correction of errors. |
| If speech recognition is used, a Dragon NaturallySpeaking license per speaker will be needed. |
| dns.comfort.local requires a license per workstation. All other product variants can be used on any number of workstations – license fees are charged per author or typist. |
